Elite Valve Design
Elite Valve Knife gate's flows toward the seat to press the gate against the dogs to seal the valve.This protects the gate and the valve because the repalceable seat ring takes most of the beating. This design also allows the stuffing box to be whip clean with a self flushing design.

Typical Knife Gate Design
Typical Knife Gates use the flow to force the gate against the seat to seal. But it also exposes the packing, the gate and the stuffing box tends to get clogged with debris which can cause the gate to not seal properly. |
